L’ arte della Memoria è una risposta, personale o collettiva, alle realtà socio-culturali da cui scaturisce o a cui si ispira. Osservare l’arte della Memoria è mettersi in ascolto, attraversare il ricordo, portarlo con sé.

The art of Memory is a personal or collective response to the socio-cultural realities from which it springs or is inspired. To observe the art of Memory is to listen, to cross the memory, to take it with you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Le illustrazioni sono tratte dal libro La stella che non brilla, testo di Guia Risari, Gribaudo Editore. Sono un invito a ricordare la Shoah attraverso i Memoriali sparsi per il mondo. L’opera d’arte che è già elaborazione del ricordo entra nella narrazione del libro, si fonde con essa accompagnando le emozioni dei protagonisti e delle vicende narrate.

The illustrations are taken from the book La stella che non brilla, text by Guia Risari, Gribaudo Publisher. They are an invitation to remember the Shoah through the Memorials around the world. The work of art, which is itself a travel through the memory, unveils the narrative of the book, merges with it, accompanying the emotions of the protagonists and the narration.
